HELLO THERE, I’M BLAKE!

Blake Eason is an anchor, reporter, and producer with a passion to tell stories and start conversations.

Blake is currently an anchor and reporter for Good Morning Nashville, in Nashville, Tennessee, on WKRN, the ABC affiliate.

Before moving to Music City, Blake was the morning anchor for WRBL, the CBS affiliate in Columbus, Georgia. He also served as the pre-game host for the Atlanta Braves. Blake was fortunate enough to cover the team winning the World Series in 2021, interviewing fans, coaches, and front-office staff along the way.

Blake started as the weekend anchor and weekday reporter at WRBL before joining the morning show.  While in Columbus, Blake covered numerous hurricanes, the 2020 presidential election, President Biden’s visit to Southwest Georgia on his 100th day in office, and he was also invited to cover Former President Jimmy Carter and Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter’s 75th wedding anniversary celebration in Plains, Georgia.

After earning a degree in Journalism and Emerging Media from Kennesaw State University, Blake got his start early on at the nationally syndicated radio show, The Bert Show. Within a few months, he moved from a behind the scenes intern to an on-air personality and producer, creating and producing is own segments on-air and online.

Being from the small town of Warner Robins, Georgia has taught Blake to always be grateful, stay grounded, and find a way to include Sweet Tea with every meal and “y’all” in every conversation.

When he’s not working, Blake enjoys visiting new coffee shops, discovering new bands and artists, and riding his skateboard around the city.

More than anything, Blake has a passion to share stories that matter — the kind of stories that start conversations, bring people joy, and maybe even change the way we see the world
